Driver door not opening

I went out tonight, and when I got back and tried to open my driver door, I got a pop, then the door wouldn't open. I can still open it from the outside, but not from the interior. When I looked, I saw some guys saying on forums to remove all the screws, pull the door from the bottom, then lift up to remove the panel. this sounds quite easy, but what about the latch? does the black trim around the latch have to be removed or is it a part of the panel? Also, what does the inside of the panel look like? Does anyone have any pics? One more thing, do you have any websites that sell the matching push pins for a beige interior? I think that it has the Christmas tree style push pins on the top of teh panel, but the local stores only have black pins for replacement. Thanks for any help or advice on this matter.

Hey man I just did this, the only difference is it was my lock and not the door handle which seems to be your problem. Taking the panel off is fairly simple, just remove the torx screws including the ones for your handle, then try to get a hand and slowly move along the edge untill you find one of the pins, if you get a good grip and dont tug to hard you shouldn't have to worry about breaking them (even though I always do lol), then the next step is to get the window crank off. There's a clip holding it in place, called a Jesus clip because it can disappear in a second, they make a tool from the factory but the way I did it (the long hard way) was to find something to push the rubber stopper back to expose both legs of the clip then i got two small allen wrenches to push them over the little edge. Once that done everything should come off fairly easy. The only technical part about the whole process is being careful around the pillar because the door panel tucks up underthere (I don't have any pictures but you'll see what I mean). Then once you get the panel off all I did was take a knife and make a small clean cut to peel away the plastic. I know in my situation I ordered a new handle (which are side specific btw) and found out I had a little clip that connects one of the rods at the bottom of the door, my handle was fine lol. Anyway not much help on actually getting the rods in and out of the actual handle since I didn't have to do that. Hopefully that made some sense, I've been at work all night but saw you have the exact issue I had. Feel free to ask some more questions if I wasn't clear enough or didn't make sense and welcome to the board!
