Taking the engine out would make the job 1000X easier. and aparently it isnt all that hard.
If youre going to replace the bearings, youre going to need to know what oversize youre going to need, so pulling the crank shaft out would be needed. That requires pulling the pistons..
im just going to ask, by knock, does it go away once the engine warm up?
