Warm weather....I dont have a TJ so I dont know the exacts of your top but you need some sunshine to warm up the fabric to allow it to stretch a bit.

unhook the soft top at the rear two corners to give it slack then refasten two rear corners. Doors are heavy, remove nuts on hinges and with both hand lift fast and hard, good luck

Were you trying to take it off or just putting it down? There are a few videos online that will show you the proper sequence. As Norby said above, do not attach the sail panels to the rear of the tub until you have those front latches hooked. There are also two straps that run from your first bow to the rear bow, make sure that they are not twisted. I don't think that the cold is an issue for you, that usually only affects a top that has been left folded or off for a period of time or a new top.

You can lower the top alone.... trust me. Remove the windows first, all 3, then unlatch it at the header, undo the rear sail panels, flip them up on to the top, start in front and lift/lower it, folding and tucking in the back as it comes down. You'll have to walk around the Jeep a bunch to unbind things, but you can do it. I'm 5'5" and about a buck soaking wet, if I can do it, I'm sure you can... Take your time and as mentioned, watch a video or two first,so you know what you're doing... Good luck!

Yes, what InfernoGirl said. You can also go to youtube.com and search for "how to remove jeep wrangler soft top" - There are a bunch of videos that will show you how. Good luck!

As said above but said a little differently here, never attach the rear corners first before latching the front of the top to the windshield. You can't stretch the top enough to engage the front latches once the rear is attached to the tub. But once the front is latched, or at after simply slipping the hooks into the windshield slots without actually closing the latches, you can stretch the top enough from each rear corner to attach the corners individually to the tub.

Offroad until Sunday!
When you have a choice, buy American.
