Dumb softop question

What's the point of two zippers on the back window? You can only start it and zip it from left to right and the zipper on the bottom is upside down. I just don't get it maybe I'm nuts

So you can un-zip both sides and roll up the window, leaving it attached to the top. Stock tops come with straps to hold it.
