Duplicolor Shadow Black chrome

Anyone used this spray? Looks good on paper but I would like to know if anyone has experience with the stuff.

I saw that stuff at AZ, duplicolor brand is hit or miss overall. I've seen pics of chrome side mirrors done with it. Looked ok
Can't wait to see if anybody did their wheels with that stuff.

Im going away for the weekend and when I come back I guess I will be a guinea pig lol. I dont do a whole lot of off roading, and when I do its in sugar sand. Not alot of mountains here in FL unless you count the trash heap lol. So if anyone has had some real issues with this stuff let me know otherwise these:

are gonna get the royal treatment.

Actually those look awesome.

Are they chrome though?

Would it work on a polished rim?

I did the brush guard that came with my Jeep. eventually I will do the bumpers and side steps until I can afford to get new bumpers.

Before

After

What I think the Jeep would look like finished, bumpers, brush guard, side steps and wheels

looks nice, i say go for it, if you dont like it get some rustoleoum wheel paint n spray em!!
they also make some primer you shld use with it
dnt forget to sand real good n prime

but the more i look at your jeep i think you shld use a flat black. yellow jeeps always look slick on black, and your jeeps got a black out theme from the looks of it. in my opinoin do flat black n leave a silver ring around the outside. theyd really "pop" and accent the steps.

thats what id do

I want to do flat black but I think my wife would kill me. She likes the chrome. But, I have at least talked her into this for now. However, if they look like crap then I guess I would have no choice but to paint them black... I'm getting bad ideas now lol

Does what you're spraying have to be chrome to get that finish?

Yes. All it really is, is a spray tint it needs the chrome to add to the glow. Its like nightshades tail lamp spray but for chrome

I'm debating on doing my wheels because they are polished aluminum so it may not shine as much
