E brake sticking

Well my e brake is sticking just want some tips on how to fix it .. Just got it yesterday

pull your drums see if anything is goin on back there, mabey broken springs, bad cables..... ect

I have a Rubi with 4 wheel disc .. My first with no drums .. Just want to know what to look for cause I haven't climes under yet

It has drums still, inside the rotor hat...

Thank you .. I had to bet the hell out of it to get it off .. It is definitely hanging up right after I take the e brake off .. I will have to rake it apart again this weekend . I sprayed all the moving parts with some on blaster to break things loose

I had an '88 cherokee and the e-brake cable was sticking inside the sheathing it slides through cause it was all rusted. Got a new cable from and it was all better.

This ended up being the 2 price part that comes from the back of the brake unit and hooks the cable .. Mine was seized to one piece and was not working like a scissor to spread the breaks.. Damn salt
