Electronics and water resistance - tips?

Hi all...new guy here. Have a question, looking for tips.

I have a couple audio amps installed under the rear seat in my 04 TJ. I was wondering of anyone had any tips for keeping them dry/protected in case of rain when I have the top down.

I thought about covering them in plastic, but am worried about overheating.

Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated.

My Jeep has been rained on with no top before. My amp didn't even get wet. You should be okay.

If its under the seat you should be fine. X2 on having it top down in the rain...multiple times. No issues, just wet butt until the sun comes out lol
