Engine Dress-Up

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this one but...
I dressed up my engine.
I'm not going to use my jeep as a mud-mobile anymore cause of rust so why not have something nice. A lot of my friends have antique cars with nice painted engines so I went for it.
I painted the block red, fuel rail and headers silver, and valve cover a new coat of black.
I also installed spectre's braided stainless steel hose kit.
Last but not least is an Arachno Camo Customs (my shop) spider on the valve cover.
I'll put up process pictures later if ya'll want but here it is...
Attachment 255776
and yes it is a waste of money to some but I like to be proud when I pop my hood.

Hey I like it- and know one should hate cuz we all got jeeps so we can customize or do what ever we want to it. Sorry to hear about the rust but the engine looks great

You get those guys who go, "its a jeep not a ricer" and all those other comments. I still wheel it just not mud, I stick to rock crawling now. My frame needs to last atleast a few more years till I can get a new one. Thank you though!

Looks good brother man. Now if you put those cheesy colored wire looms on everything it would look like butt IMO. The black heat resistant ones are nice though.

Agree'd haha, I'm probably going to do some nice braided sleeving on all the wires, wire loom especially the colored ones look bad.
