engine heater

Help!!!! Which is better to use on a 03 , with a 4.0 .
an inline lower hose heater, a magnetic block heater , or freeze plug type?
Colder then a well-diggers behind here in Idaho, and hard starting in the AM

ive got an inline hose type one on mine, it works well here in Montana.

Hang in there, it's supposed to warm up later in the week.
I'd stay away from the magnetic heaters, I've heard they just cook the oil in a small spot. I had an in-line hose heater once, worked great for me.
