Engine questions

just got done with my recent mods to the front end and the next thing on my to-do list is regearing. (Currently running 3.07's) And i was talking to a buddy of mine in the shop after i finished and he brought up boring and stroking out my 4.0 to a 4.6 Has anyone done this? i figure its probably around $600-900, $100-150 a cylinder something like that. Is it worth it? And if you guys were to do this what would you run for you compression ratios. Also i cant think of anything off the top of my head but what other things would i have to replace besides the pistons.

Here is a generic link to some parts that may commonly be used in a stroker build.

Going to need a 258 crank.
Then decide how much you want to spend.
Short rod (258) is cheaper cus you can use stock pistons
Long rod (4.0) is more cus your going to have get custom pistons.
