engine swap

I currently havea 95 YJ with the little 2.5l in the jeep and by spring i would like to start swapping in the famous 4BT cummins. i have been dooing some research but cannot find any type of parts list and would like to know if anyone has done this swap and could give me some advice that would be great thanks.

This is the TJ forum, but I personally havent done the swap. There probably isnt a clear cut instruction guide to doing this. Research everything you can on the swap and eventually you will be able to make a parts list.

i know it is the tj section i wrote it in every section hoping that someone out there can piont me in the right direction. thanks for your input though every little bit that i get helps

Would love a diesel swap at some point, but would much rather go with the VW TDi engine. It weighs less than the 4bt, heck it actually weighs less than the 2.5L.

i have a 4bt non intercooled for now, nv4500 transmission. 5 inches of lift, 35s, 4.11s and drive the crap out of it... gets 23mpg all day long. i can help you with a parts list if you would like. just email me and in the heading put 4bt help.. good luck

I did a search for diesel swap options and found this.
Down the road I might want to do so.
What are the other diesel options?

the most info that i have found on the swap was 4btswap.com,
it is very helpfull
