I have the E12000 and love it... Use it about every weekend and has never me down. Had it since Nov 2011.

I do not think truer words are said than...."You get what you pay for"... when it comes to stuff you buy to pull you A$$ out of a jam, go as good as you can.............I, personally carry a HAND CRANK winch as a back up to whatever electric I am trusting.

I couldn't agree more.... I got my Engo E12000 winch for $350 and spent the money I saved on other improvements. I pull right next to guys with Warns and Milemarkers and Smittybilts and TMax's and Ramseys..... We all use them and they all perform as they should to date.

I have yet for someone to tell me, " Oh no.... you can't pull me out with that foreign winch.... I'll just sit here flopped over and wait for someone with a 'good' winch to right me up."

I would love to here it on a trail.

If it fails me... it fails me... big deal. I would buy another for the price...it had paid for itself time and time again. So far, it has NEVER let me down... or any of the rigs I have pulled upright or out of a tight spot or up a rockface....

my 9000lb Engo was $289 right to my door. Have used it a few times, once to pull a gator out of a hole (about 6-7 feet deep) so the winch had to pull almost the whole weight of the gator, and had no problems. Other times were random times pulling my friend out! I haven't gotten stuck yet, but I guess that means im not trying hard enough. Some say that cheap Chinese stuff won't last, but I haven't heard of a single Engo failing yet and haven't read a bad review yet either. Time will tell

I have used my Engo 10k to pull out tree stumps, a Durango stuck at the beach, a Chevy 1500 ex cab up onto a trailer, along with my TJ to preload. No issues whatso ever. Best $309 I ever spent. Just like TnDz TJ said if it grenades itself and cannot be fixed I will buy it again. Same one but this time with the synthetic line.

I used it once, it did great. I like it. Good price, yeah chinese blah blah I'm not spending a fortune on something I use every once in a great while. Take my advice though, get synthetic. This steel cable has given me hell and many cuts over the months. I'm getting synthetic once it officially dies. Also get a cover, I don't care what people say about them holding water. The bolts and the cable are rusting over and it's been less than a year. Other then that, i personally think it's a good buy. You get one year electrical warranty and lifetime on the mechanical!

E9000 is great. I have it on the YJ. Use it when needed and was never let down. Runs quite and smooth, never had it get hot on me either, despite the load. I trust it as much as the Superwinch on my LJ.
