ethanol gas

Theres a station near me that sells pure gas. I've just been using the now normal e10 blended stuff, but will mixing the two different kinds cause any problems? I would think that adding pure gas to e10 gas would just dilute the ethanol and give better mileage/performance but I want to make sure nothing can happen by mixing the two. I don't like having ethanol in gas to start with for many reasons so I figure the less I can put in the better.

thanks

No. They are inter-compatible with each other.

If you found a 100% gasoline station, treasure it.

We have quite a few around here and I notice about a 1-2mpg bump in my tanks from the 10% ethanol stuff. I keep a running total of my mileage in my phone so I voice this with confidence.

I think there is a site (puregasdotorg) or something similar to find stations near you. I use their app when traveling.

The only benifit to the ethanol gas is to the corn grower$.

It reduces mileage about 10%, hard on the rubber fuel hoses in older vehicles.

Thanks for the replies.

I plan on getting gas from there if possible. I figure if I'm going to buy gas I might as well get the most out of it per gallon. I really dislike e10 as i said before, in the real world there are no tangible benefits like people have said its just more $$ for the farmers and their lobbyists.

I think the app is even more user-friendly than the website!
