Evap problem- code 456

The check engine light came on. My code reader said the code was 456 (small evap leak). I know that can come from a bad gas cap sometimes, so I already tried a new one. That wasn't it, so the light came back on. Does anyone have any ideas what my problem might be?

Evap Code

More than Likely your vehichle will fail emmisions testing. Most times a smoke test wont provide results besides draining your bank account. Disconnect your negative battery cable at the battery post and not the jumping post. Wait 5-10 mins reconect it drive 25-100 miles before an emission test. The alternative is dropping the gas tank and replaceing the cannister and that can be very expensive. It is put in there for a reason but for the most part texting while driving is 1,000,000,000,000 more dangerous but you didnt hear that from me.

I have the same problem and have been driving it like that for 2 years now!

the check engine light does not bother me, it blends in well with the airbag light that is always on also.
