i got a flowmaster 40 series on my 4.0. I rather enjoy it...however i cant talk on the phone while driving due to the turndown i had put on it just in front of the rear axel and not having any carpet...lol...its not annoying just makes it to where i cant talk...which doesnt bother me cause i dont like distractions when enjoying riding in my jeep

I recently put a pacesetter catback system on my 99 4.0 Nice deep tone, loud but not too loud.
I also purchased a Flowmaster Delta 50 with 2.5 C/O holes, but decided on the whole catback system instead. Never even used it so if your interested let me know.

I have a borla pro xs in the place of the stock muffler. Sound got a bit deeper but not loud. I heard another jeep with a small cherrybomb and it sounds crazy. Best sounding inline ever. I will install a electric cutout before the borla muffler for offroading.

Just installed a Flowmaster Super 44. Sounds awesome. Deep and throaty. (that's what she said). Is loud at first, but then you get used to it and don't notice it as much. I can still talk on the phone and such, though. But I have carpet still. I'll get back to everyone and let you all know how loud it is in the summer with the top down. (God, I can't wait till summer!)

i got the banks monster and love it (4.0L). Not anoying or overly loud and not droning at all on highway. Nice deep tone that the 4.0L deserves.

I also put on a super 44 today. sounds good for a 6 cylinder. I always find myself expecting something different. any 6 cylinder in any configuration can be tricky.

so far I like it, does not take my breath away but I don't think any 4.0L will

If you build your jeep so big and bad that it's really easy to get threw everything out there, then your going to get bored.
