hey everybody, I am thinking I may get a new exhaust for my 99 jeep wrangler. I really want one that will make my 6 cylinder have a deep rumble when I start it and through the first couple of gears. i am thinking of getting the flowmaster 40 series american thunder muffler. any suggestions or comments on what would be better for what i am wanting.
Any one can fix the youtube link thingy that used to be here on the web before it crashed? you know the [yt] blah [/yt] codes...?... It was very useful.
thanks, but does it matter which flowmaster 40? there is the original, delta flow, delta force, super 40 and then the one i referred to earlier the american thunder. which one would be the loudest with the most rumble?
The length of the tail pipe is the final factor that will determine the loudness :wavey:.
Cut off the tail pipe on your stock muffler and you will be waking the neighbors every mourning.. You'll be the cock of the town .
when i installed my 50 delta i didnt bother w/ the tail pipe and it was loud enough to shake my seats at idle. (so loud that the camera rumbles and distorts it)
True, but I would love to hear what it would do to the I-6.
