This is my first post, though I have been viewing the site for months. I want to put a new exhaust on my jeep and wondered what would give me the best sound with my 2.5l. I am leaning towards the Magna Flow Cat Back, but just am not sure. I Have a friend who owns a shop and will remove tha Cat for me as well. I live in Michigan, and we havent had emmisions testing here for some time now. Will I have better results by removing the Cat?
So, I want best performance, sound (even with the 2.5l), and I was wondering if you guys normally redo the rest of the piping with stainless to the engine when you buy the Cat back kits.
I am working on getting pictures on the site now. I just bought a 2000 SE 2.5l with a 4" susension lift, 33" M/T's on M/TBeed Lock Wheels, Warn winch and bumbers, 4 spotlights, Stock axles and gearing, Skid plate, and a bunch of other extra's. 117,000 miles for $6,000.00. The body is mint, and after a tune-up and new o2 scensors I have no codes and it runs perfect. It also has a Safari Snorkel, and rancho 5000 shocks.
I am very excited to have my jeep and be a part of this great community of jeepers. This site ROCKS!
