Exhaust Kit suggestions

Aesthetically, I've got my jeep EXACTLY where I want it. Now to the performance of the vehicle.

I'm looking to (in the next several months) purchase an aftermarket exhaust and air intake kit. But I'm at a loss as to which would be the best.

Right now, I'm looking at banks exhaust (a friend has one on his jeep, that's the only reason) and a K&N air intake, but I'm looking for suggestions from you guys.

I've got a 1997, 2.5L 4cyl. I'd rather the exhaust not be CRAZY loud. I'm really just looking for more power and to get all the bank for my buck,
Thanks you guys.

'97 TJ, 4cyl. 3" JK "take-off" lift with 2" spacers up front, Bridgestone Dueler 255/75 R18 take offs.

I basically drive a Jeep TJK

I got banks on mine. It is the 4.0 but its not crazy loud. Just makes it sound really cool. And its all stainless. And it comes in 3 peices so i didnt have to snake it through. Love mine.

Just don't expect a noticeable power gain. You might get 5-10 HP with the exhaust and air intake.

K&N air intake on a TJ will do nothing performance wise. Leave the stock air box.
