Exhaust on 2.5L

So, I have a 1998 Black Jeep Wrangler with a 3" BDS Lift and 33" tires. I am now looking to do something cheap to the exhaust. I know what I want to do, and that is put a glass pack on the exhaust. I was just wondering if putting a glass pack on the2.5L 4 cylinder would do anything? would it actually make it sound better? I know that if I get it put on backwards it sounds better, but what are some opinions
