Expensive shocks when expecting a susp. lift soon?

So I bought my jeep about 2 months ago and the shocks are shot! I finally scrapped up enough money to get some shocks, but I'm expecting to get a suspension lift in 5-6 months so should I just invest in something like procomps that are reasonably cheaper ($120 for 4) than the ranchos ($200 for 4) or is getting a cheaper shock a bad idea even though its only going to be for a 5-6 months? my shocks right now are really bad and i hate myself letting my baby run on them this long.

I'd get cheapos for now, even junkyard pulls or "take-offs" from a local club/shop. You can usually get used stockers dirt cheap from someone who has just done a lift and has no use for them. Save your cash for the lift and get a nice set then. Both Fox and Bilstein make pretty nice shocks.

Factory take offs are all over, saw some in the for sale section with 45000 miles on them for dirt cheap.

Spend the smallest amount you can because they will no have any resale.
