who are you killing??? just kiddin'

just see if it will fit long ways right now...the cover just goes over it right? it shouldn't take up any room for it not to fit unless it goes down on the sides

I HAD MY SIGHTS SET ON A 12 POINTER

Well my jeep is in the shop so thas out of the question. I just get tired of having to worry about it. I beleive it will lay at an angle just curious if anyone had done it with a rifle before? If not i'll bore a small hole in it behind the seat so the barrell can slip though.

In most states you cannot transport a rifle that is not cased. If you use a hard case for protection, there is no way it will fit. It might if you use a soft case. Depends on the length of the rifle/shotgun/muzzleloader also.
