Howdy people i thought i might check in I was at my gf cussins house way out in the country. Got some mud/frozen ground/snow. I'll post pics as soon as i get them from my gfs cam.

anyhow by extended i assume you mean longer ones for more lift?

I use my rough country sway bar links as they are longer and i have the home made discos with the clevis pin in there. So far no rattles or anything at all.

You can cut them and weld some longer metal on them.

How about using a bolt and a long nut like in this image?

You take one of your links and go to the store. Then you find the size of the thread on the stock link and you look for a long nut like this (no idea what they are called but i know ace hardware has them) Then you screw one side on there and you use a regular screw that goes on the other side (top though the sway bar) and you tighten that too.

That is what i've come up. Since i dont want to upset any one. Do at your own risk.

Like this.. the sway bar goes by the bolt and the shaft is the sway bar link.

the stock link is still the same way and still connected to the bottom however the top is extended down so all put together the ball joint will end up being in the middle.
