I am a little confused. I'm pretty sure your tj should have a place to wire in the lights through the factory system. The switch for this type of wiring set up is to pull out on the end of the headlight lever. The benefit of having the lights wired into a seperate switch is that they are independent of your driving lights ( you can have auxillary/fog lights and your high beams on at the same time ). I don't know about your HELLA switch but my kc slimlight switch doesn't look rough, out of place, or peacemill at all. Just some thoughts.
