Sold my old top for $140. Overall in pretty good shape. Side zippers worked well but the rear windows had issues. The zipper unstiched from the top and the rear window was basically not functional. For me this top became useless as on nice days I drop the top and the doors.
Now for someone that has a beat top that they might just want a top to get them by until they can afford a proper new one it may be worth it to someone. Or someone might just want a trail top and not really care if the rear window works etc..
I say list it. If you get something for it great if not you can always junk it or give it away to someone.
If you decide to trash it, list it for free. Some one might need a piece of it for a projects or repair. Hold onto it for two weeks like that, then trash it.
I would say go with m4j2t. I would list it for free and keep the hardware if you have a place to store it. I did the same thing with my old soft top and ended up giving it to a guy who needed part of it to repair his. Good luck
Thanks everyone for the advice. I am going to list it on Craigslist and see if anyone is interested in buying it. If not I will just give it away to a good home and keep the hardware just in case.
Throw it on CL. You never know. I personally wouldn't mind having a beater top for the woods. Narrow trails & tree branches are no bueno for soft windows. Good call on keeping the hardware.
