factory tub liner

my 04 came with a factory tub liner that covers the major seams on the body and goes over the rollbar mounts. i am planning on herculining my tub soon so i would like to know if i should first remove the factory liner or just go over it? the factory stuff was sprayed on right over the rollbar bolts so it will be a pita to remove. what should i do?

If you ever want to take your roll cage out of you Jeep, you should tape off the feet (or at least the hardware) that secures it to the tub. That stuff that they use to seal the seams is hard enough to cut off/around to get the cage out, I can't imagine having to cut through the bedliner too. Good luck with your project!

If you have to ask what it is or what it does, you don't need it, and you will need help to install it!
