Faulty Map Sensor Reading

Hey im new to the forum's my name is Brian, I have had my jeep for like 5 years now and have done everything to it, rebuilt almost everything excempt the tranny, I wheel it as much as I can, and every place possible, Ill post pictures after I get everything fixed. But its a 1999 Jeep Wrangler SE (TJ). It has the 2.5l 4 Banger, 5-Speed transmission. I have a dana 30 in the front and a ford 8.8 in the rear 31 spline. 4.88 gearing. Interioir got a roll cage built and new seats. I did all the paint work myself. And all this was done over much time, so im no mall crawler and dont have a bunch of money. The newest things are the rear end, which I blew up the differentl in the dana 35. Which lasted me thru a set of 33" tires for 4 years and a 35" tire set for 1 year, so they are pretty strong. Unless something was different about mine haha... but anyways baack to the real subject!

THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS:
My jeep has been acting very funny, and cant figure it out.

It has No power, check engine light comes on, coughs and sputters. Back fires thru the intake. Idles rough, sometimes shuts off while idleing, after put a new ECM it is drivable now, but when you drive and come to a complete stop sometimes it will shut off if i dont rev it up, but usually runs fine, until i try to drive off it will have no power so i have to rev it up to get it going.

I have replaced the ECM and re did some wiring, since some wires were being cut by the battery hold down, and shorted the computer which i thought was the problem.

When you scan it comes out to be the MAP sensor code, even after replacing the ECM and MAP fixing wires going from the ECM and to the MAP sensor, the codes still read MAP sensor no changes in the singal voltage, checked voltage and voltage does not change, when idling and reving it up, stays at a constent 2.96 volts. even after changing the MAP sensor 3 times, when sensor said 3.14 volts but never changed. Vaccum is good. The voltage coming to map sensor is 5 volts, the ground wire checks out ok.

I Checked the fuel pump. its good, so that rules that out.

Let me know what you guys think!! Need Help?!

Been down without a jeep for like a month. Not a goodf feeling when its my daily driver and my first car :[

It is interesting that your propensity to share varies significantly depending on whether you have a problem or a solution.
