Fender Flare well nuts?

I have to replace the drivers side fender flare as it is rusting trough. So I started removing the bolts of the fender flare and found the ones on the bottom will only spin. I beleive that I can get them off with a pair of vise grips or something on the back side to hold it. But once they are out and it's time to install the new ones in the new fender I am a little confused. I bought the set from rugged ridge that will do the whole jeep however how do I install the well nuts and keep them in there. As I don't see how to install them. The new fender has hex holes that will accecpt these but If I install them from the back side like I think then it will be to much sticking out towards the fender flare.

Any input would be great thanks Dave

Are these stock? I thought all flares were plastic from the factory? Anyways, I took all my flares off today. You should be able to use your fingers to hold all the plastic nuts. Front flares are easy since it is easy to reach the nuts. The rear will require wedging open the wheel well to get your fingers in there. I didn't even remove the christmas tree grommets when i did mine...

Nope not the plastic one the metal ones that go in the lower rear of the driver's side fender. The ones with the plastic back all come out just fine. It's the ones with the aluminum or metal insert that spins in the hole that wont come out, I will have to cut the head of the bolts to get it off but that is fine since I am going to install a new fender anyway.

Thanks for any help
