Fender flares

Which would look better on my Tj, 7 inch or stock size fender flares? I have 33x12.50r15 on gambler rims. Thanks!

7" fenders means a Jeep that is 14" W I D E R on the trails. Stick with stock till you find something you really like...

I vote stock.. Cheaper/easier to find and i like the look of the tires sticking out some. I think it looks goofy when theyre completely covered by flare.

It sure does. I really hate to see a vehicle that the flares stick out way past the tires. Like how a stock JK looks with those huge plastic fenders. Anyway, stick to stock OP, if you can get away with it in your state. Looks good.

Go with what you think looks good on your jeep man. I do agree that a smaller/skinnier flare is the way to go. This summer mine will be replaced with some MC. Going with no flares at all, just the fenders

I was a stock fan until I traded got some bushwackers. I love the stance and coverage these provide.

Rubicon TJ flares for the win. Look of stock but better coverage without looking goofy.

I like my 7" as well. Windows stay much cleaner. I like the look of the flat cut might do it to mine to. I personally wouldn't go sans flares. My son's has no flares and looks cool but throws crap everywhere.

Just find someone who has a old pair laying around. After you paint them they look brand new. Usually you can find a whole set for $50 to free. I don't know where you are in Florida but I know a guy in Jacksonville who's selling a full rubicon flare set for $50.

I've got factory style, 7" flares on mine. Over here (UK) they have to cover. I bought some made by Crown Automotive. They aren't as good quality as factory but were cheap and do the job.

Why keep the "dog leg", the third piece of the fenders, or what ever they are called? or the step?

So how much wider are the Rubicon flares in comparison to the stock flares?
