Fender flares paint removel

So the genius previous owner got a bad paint job trying to pair the fenders I want to re paint them I just don't know how to get all the left over paint off I assume it's car paint? Any ideas how to remove it

I would remove the flares and rub them down with acetone or MEK. If that didn't work, I would try sanding them down. Good Luck.

Be careful with getting too agressive with paint strippers.
I had good luck using a citrus based paint stripper on some Yamaha Rhino plastic body panels.
Took the paint off clean and there was no damage to the plastics at all.

Scotch Brite pads to scuff the surface and clean with soap and water. When dry use Krylon Adhesion Promoter and finish off with Krylon Fusion paint in your choice of colors... It may cost a little more, but you'll be happier with the results...
