Fenders

I was recently up on a trail and a wild tree came out of no where and hit my Bushwhacker fender. I have been looking into getting Poison spyder metal fenders, or the SmittyBuilt ones. But I'm not sure if there is a better brand that is more affordable, I was just looking for some input or buyer reviews. Thanks

Hmmm, I stick with the stockers, easy to replace. And easy to carve with an exacto knife, or a dremel for needed clearance..

I just installed my MCE fenders. I love them so far. Got them for $350 shipped. Way more tire clearance than my bushwackers.

They seem really durable. Haven't had them long enough to decide for sure though. A lot of people that run them really like them. They make serval different sizes, and even a 6 inch flare if I'm not mistaken, which should provide you with adequate tire coverage if you're worried about rocks kicking up.

I believe you just found me my fenders . I did not see on their site if they had rear fenders so now I'm wondering if i should keep my rear bushwhackers and see how that looks.

Actually I'm in the same dilemma. To me, the bushwackers on the rear look awkward with the flat fenders in the front. I talked to someone (mike I believe) from MCE, and he said the rears should be out no later than the end of this year. That being said, I'll most likely run stock fenders on the rear. I found a guy selling some for 20 bucks and I think they'll match just fine. I'm selling my bushwackers today to help with the cost of replacing them with a much more functional product.

I will probably do the same thing now that I'm looking at them. But thank you very much for the tip on the product.
