Fenders?

I considering putting new fenders on my Jeep to cover my 33"x12.5" tires. I would prefer that the fenders cover the tires entirely and just really want to know what are my options.
* I'm not a big fan of flat fenders and prefer the more traditional/stock fender look
* Also I would prefer the fenders to be grey or at least easily painted.
Thanks
-G

How much more tire coverage do you need? Rubicon fenders are 1" wider and can be found relatively easily on craigslist or ebay.

Okay they out around 2.5" and I talked to some 4wheel parts guys today about while ordering some stuff. He recommended the pocket style fenders that keep the similar styling but also give the coverage I want. I believe he recommended the 4.75" over the 6". Said it would either perfectly conceal or be very close to what I want coverage wise. Here is an idea of what I'm dealing with.

He recommended the 4.75??? Your rubicon fenders are 4"... Lol you wouldnt even gain an inch. If you want it all covered id go for the 6"-7".

Whoa... you know what...I think i forgot to mention to the guys that I have a Rubicon *slap. So that would mean the 6" or 7" would definitely work better. I'm kinda getting a vibe from the Bushwacker pocket style fenders. Anybody have them on their Jeep with 12.5"s? I appreciate the imput so far guys/gals

I have 7" flares on my rig and they look absolutely ridiculous. I would never suggest purposely installing these on your vehicle unless legally required to do so.

Agreed. I put these on as well. Hated how they looked so I ended up trimming them.

After trimming what would you say was the length?

5 1/2 inches or so. I definitely gave up some effectiveness for appearance. They were the cheapo rigged ridge flares so no big loss.

The 6" flares are looking the best so far appearance wise right now in my opinion. Fenders like the 7" definitely look a little funny. Shoot I might just consider downsizing on my tire width after I kill this set.

I've always liked the look of the tall skinny pizza cutters over the big wide boggers.

That's kinda how I feel, however, I have no idea how wide my rims are. They were on there when I bought the jeep.

I hated the Bushwhacker pocket flares and they were poor quality and did not fit worth a dang. Took them off and went back to OEM Rubicon flares. They are just not OEM quality. They did cover about an inch more tire.
