Figures...

Just set aside $300 for my Jeep this check, but apparently it didn't think that was enough...driving home last night, accelerating...hit 4th gear, Jeep bucks twice and BAM! CEL. P0123 (TPS sensor). Figures.

On the plus side... I picked up a set of Hella 500 driving lamps, some Bestop seat covers, and a SpiderWeb SW1 shade. Now just hoping the SpiderWeb will fit tight enough with my rollbar padding removed.

Condolences on your problems. I have no idea what that is going to cost you....hopefully not much in either cash or downtime!

Good luck...enjoy your new stuff!

You won't have any problem with the spiderweb fitting tight enough. Just cinch it up tighter.... They are very adaptable...

TPS should run you around $80. Getting the torx screws off is another story. Just make sure that you use a really high quality torx bit. The job will take you 10 minutes with the right tools or hours and hours with the wrong ones. Remember blue thread locker too.

I got her... $45 with my employee discount ($63 retail from dealer)

...old one was a biatch to get the screws removed but I got it without losing any skin. Then some dumbass *raises hand* forgot how to remove the wire harness and lost a chunk of his thumb trying to disconnect it. Imagine how stupid I felt when I remembered and it popped right off...

Created a new thread relating to this though....forgot I'd created this one to be honest...LOL
