FINALLY!!! Mirrors on- doors OFF!!!!

I got a pair CIPA mirrors for a CJ off Amazon for $29.

Took some 1/2" conduit (yeah electrical conduit) and bent it 90 Degrees.

Cut it down to be 8" on each side. Flatten one side and rounded if off for the mirror side.

3/8" bolt at 2.5" long with sides slightly shaved to give a snug fit into the hinge mount side of the conduit and welded it up. ( DO NOT BREATH THE GALVI FUMES!!! VERY HARMFUL)

Shot with 2 coats of Plasti-Dip and BINGO!!!!!

No doors and good mirrors..... no I haven't road tested them yet on the freeway.... I will report back when I do... later!!!!

Looks great! And you have the added satisfaction of knowing that you built it yourself.

Just got back from the 30 mile freeway run.... Not bad!!! 75-80mph with a little vibe in both mirrors, but I can live with it... I can still see behind me. Only thing I wish was different was the pass mirror should be 'OBJECTS CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR'....but its not... oh well...

Pass side I need to tighten up a bit... I am VERY pleased
