Finished w/my TJ - for now

Just finished raising my 99 TJ. Had it about two years and after finding this forum decided to make some improvements.
Added a 2" spacer lift and 1" BL.
M/T Classic rims and 32" BFGs.
And a few other mods.
Love this site but I have to stop finding cool things to add to my Jeep or I'll go broke!

Not at all.

I put a 2" Skyjacker spacer lift kit on it. There are kits available without the shocks for less money.
Skyjacker Standard 2" Spacer Lift Kit with Hydro Shocks for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

Then I used a 1" Daystar body lift.
Daystar KJ04508BK - Daystar 1" Polyurethane Body Mount Lift Kit for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

It actually rides much better than with the stock setup. The BL probably made the most difference.

I got all of my stuff from Quadratec. There are less expensive spacer kits and body lift kits available through them. The main reason I went with Skyjacker is I'm originally from West Monroe, LA. and have dealt with them in person and really like them.

You will have to adjust the t-case shift linkage. The bracket is included in the kits and is very simple to install.

Thanks for the comments!

The fender flares are easy to install. Just taking off the old and installing new. I didn't have to do any drilling in the body. They mounted in the existing holes. I was done in 1 hour.

Here is a link to the ones I installed.
Value Line BCY1000 - Value Series 6" Pocket Style Fender Flares for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

They are also on Ebay for a little cheaper with free shipping. I got mine off Ebay. Just do a search for "Jeep Wrangler 6" Fender Flares".

Looks nice, I really like that color. Never seen the color near me.

If it wasn't for this place I wouldn't do anything at all to my jeep because I don't know much about working on Jeeps. Now I do research and learn what to do and the next thing I know my Wallet seems lighter
