First Jeep!

Bought my first Jeep last month itís a 06 wrangler X. Its still pretty much stock I added a light bar with 4 KC light, some driving lights and nef bars. I want to add a lift but I donít know what is the best one to get. Iím going to put 31 BF Goodrich tires on it soon but want to put the lift on first. So can I get some help on what size and brand of lift I should get.

Hey Congrats and welcome!!!!!

How high do you want to go? Quickie is the 2" pucks for the coils. Or you can go all the way to " how deep is your wallet " for lifts. Coils/shocks,sway bar links, control arms, track bars, disconnects, and so on.

OME (Old Man Emu) probably gets the best grades. Not cheap, but worth every penny in my book.

Unless your wheel backspacing is different from our 97Sahara, we run 31 x10.50x15 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's on it, stock.

Welcome From the Peach State

Check out the lift sticky in the TJ section of the forum. Great reviews and advice there.
You can use 31's on it stock without rubbing.

Congrats on your new purchase!

As far as lifts go, you don't really need one for 31s. A "budget boost" would be a really easy and inexpensive lift for 31s.

Bigger tires (31's) are no problem, but going too much bigger on wheels may cause other issues. Also keep in mind that the bigger the tire, the lower the mpg depending on what gearing you have. Just some things to take into consideration.

Wranglers came with Best Top soft tops from the factory. They are the highest quality soft top. Do you have the frame for your soft top?

This is a 2.5 RC w/ 31x10.5 on 15x8 AR-23's

Just springs and shocks. I have a small vibe that a 1/2in TC drop didnt fix. I have the 1in on the way.
