I am still laughing at that video. From the shadow of the woods the Jeep appears and breaks the trail.

Haven't had my Jeep long enough to drive in the snow yet. Two things about that video make me happy. One, it looks pretty stock (as is mine). Two, the snow is up to the bottom of the front bumper, so it's not a small amount.
Cool!

No significant snow here yet but enough to make my hill slimy. The '04 handled it with grace.

When I had my '95 YJ I supervised the night staff at a juvenile facility 10 miles from my house. Big storm rolling through. Boss called me and said to pick up one of my staff that lived 10 miles the opposite direction. Interstate was not closed yet. Headed out to go get the staffer. It was surreal. Cars, trucks stuck everywhere. 3 to 4 foot drift with near white outs rolling through. I called it and turned around to head back. Found a young oriental couple with their Camry stuck in the center median. Picked them up and let them use my phone to call their folks to let them know they were going to stay in a motel that night. While they were on the phone a state trouper knocked on my door. I opened it up and he asked if I was going any further. I told him dropping them off at a motel in town and going home. He was laughing as he had his personal vehicle out in the storm since his cruiser was buried at the yard. It was another YJ. We shared a quick Jeep thing then I dropped the couple at a motel and went home.

My YJ only got stuck once in the time I owned it. The ex was driving it then and never put in in 4x4. I popped it into 4x4 and drove it out of the ditch.

I love it! I'll be giggling about that video all day I'm sure. Doesn't snow here much and I haven't had mine in snow but I'm looking forward to the day. Oh yeah, soon as I bought my TJ my boss told me I would most likely have to pick up one of the guys that works with me if it ever snowed since I live closest to him, or just work for him...I'll be a chauffeur if it snows .

Great story...cant wait to ride my Jeep in the snow. I'm a transplant to the NE now from Florida...Imagine that!

I went out on a snow covered trail this Monday, took my dad with me who has never done any kind of wheeling. It wasn't too much snow but it was pretty much frozen. My Tj handled it like a champ!

I wish I woulda got some pics last night we took a back road "reddish knob wv" to get home and it was a blast 4 or 5 inches of fresh snow nobody had traveled yet. No problems at all fun times...

My first ride with my new to me 98 was on a 200 mile drive in a blizzard. We ended up getting over a foot of snow. I had it in 4WD the whole 200 miles and it worked fine. I wasnt able to go over 50mph because of the roads and I dont think the jeep wanted to go that fast in 4WD. One question I had as far as its behavor on the road is it wanted to kind of wander or kind of hydro plain. I thought maybe its just the nature of the vehicle (light weight). Not as good as my 4Runner or previous Trucks on the highway. But as far as driving on the back roads with over a foot of snow and nobody around was a blast! Felt like I could crawl out of any snowbank.
