First Time Jeep Owner

Just picked up an '06 Wrangler Unlimited with 27,000 miles.

I'm hooked.

Can someone tell me what problems I can expect to encounter?

I have the "death wobble" and have ordered a steering damper and will check balance and alignment.

Also, what are the must have modifications?

Thanks

Welcome!
I just purchased my first jeep as well. A 2006 Sport black with 4" lift and 33's. Real clean and turns heads. Enjoy yours!

What are current mods? What are your goals for the jeep?

Welcome to the Forum.
If you have the stock tires with 27,000 miles you might want to look into new tires and make sure that your alignment is good. I had the DW on mine at about 34,000, had it aligned and balanced by the dealer, still had DW, Bought a new set of Goodyear Duratracs 10.5x31x15's and had it realigned at a Kauffman Tire and all is good. 6 months and no DW. You may also want to check your tire pressure, over inflation can have a lot to do with DW.
