first time lift

this is my first time lifting anything and i was looking for some help. i was thinking about getting a 2" lift kit. is there any certain type i should get? also, are there any other components that i would need to buy? I was looking to go iwth 31 or 32 inch tires and was wondering what else i would need to purchase and if they would fit on the 15x7 rims... thanks in advance

if oyu get a 2" budget boost, you need spacers and longer shocks, the kits should come with both of those, so all you need to do is find a kit with shocks you want, or buy the spacers and get the exact shocks you want

as for tires and wheels, i would get 32's, then if you think you need more lift you can get a 1.25 in body lift for about $100. as for wheels you can get away with 11.50's with the stock wheels if you add some washers to keep it from turning and rubbing or u can buy some wheel spacers to space them ut, or you can get new wheels that have less numerical backspacing or more backspacing, if you decide you dont want to space them, i would get new steel wheels for about teh smae price as spacers, but gert new wheels and get 15X8's

btw sorry for my aweful typing but im in school and class is about to end do i hve no time to edit

You can go with 32x11.50R15 tires of 15x7 wheels they will look a little funny. you really want 15x8 but to save money you can stay stock.

and for a 2" lift just do th BB its cheap. Dont want money on new springs until you want to go a least 4" lift.

what year is the jeep?

if its an old jeep then i don't think a 2" spring lift should be out of question (as long as it will be a while before you go bigger). otherwise, coil spacers will work fine.
