Just got back from taking the jeep out for the first time. It was a light trail right along the north end of Lake Lewisville, probably need to get a lift before I go on anything rougher then though. New Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrains did well though.
Had a blast and snapped a couple of pictures. It's interesting the things you find on these trails.
Anyone know of any other trails in the Lake Lewisville area?
oh come on! you should see the insane stuff a stocker will make it through, you would be surprised!!! I'll try to post some pics from this weekends banch
I took mine out for the first time with a 2" BB and 31's out by mammoth gultch in rollansville it ws pretty rough I guess it got rated a 5 by the offroad guide and I had 0 probs!
I was so impressed with my stock suspension's offroad moderate trail capabilities that I'm gonna leave it alone. I bought it with the dreaded 3" bodylift which made room for the 32" tires and I'm good to go for the kind of wimpy trails I encounter. It is embarrasing to have that daylight showing between the frame and tub but I never paid attention to it until I joined this forum. There's probably a bb in my future and then I'll cut the BL down to 1".
