i made my own last weekend. since my 6' spinner is the only one that will fit when dissembled in half, i just went to wal mart, bought 2' of velcro strapping and then cut it for three straps that go around the overhead roll bar besides the soundbar. it works perfect for me. although the girl complains that the reel lays too low and hits her hair... i'll probably see if i can move it somewhere else for her. i also have a small tackle box with the essentials that sits underneath my driver seat, just incase i pass a spot. i can post pics tomorrow if you'd like.

I took 3 poles with me last weekend, I opened up the tail gate, pushed them under the folded up rear seat and along the side of the passenger seat between the driveshaft hump and the passenger seat. My wife could move the seat back and forth and it didn't touch the poles at all. I was originally going to get some 2-1/2 to 3" pvc pipe and mount it temporarily from the center of the top of the windshield to almost the rear of the jeep. Attaching it to the center roll bar via velcro. I could then grab the poles from the rear of the jeep and pole them straight out. I've only had the jeep for three weeks, so, I haven't gotten that far yet.

Try these... These straps are designed to hold technical cables together and keep them tidy. You can get them at Bestbuy, Staples etc... they have 1" - 6" diam sizes. They work Great, esp for flash lights, fishing poles, fire ext. etc... you should try these. If you dont like them you can tidy up your surround sound cables or something.

3" black PVC with couplings on each end. Held on by two bungie cords. Total cost less than $5 for two. I just added a trail rack and might make some type of fishing rod holder on one side.

I didn't paint it. They sell it in black. Only problem is it has white lettering on it. I just turned that part in towards the roll bar. Lowes sells a 3' pipe for like $3. I cut it in 1/2 which made 2 holders then put couplings on each end. I got the idea from EGAY. a seller was sellling them for $25.
