Fit hit the Shan

On the way to take my jeep for service it wouldnt go over 40, then the check gauges light came on, THEN a huge cloud of black smoke came out the back, THEN i smelled coolant, THEN i lost my power steering. oh yeah this was all from Moweaqua to Assumption (About 7 miles) so now my baby is on the back of a tow truck oh and i have a rear end noise. anybody have any ideas?? i also had steam/smoke coming off the engine block.

Just called, still waiting on hose.. i would think they could go next door to autozone, they said it sat for a long time with bad oil in it and that the plugs are bad... they dont know everything yet..
Maintenance yeah i dont think the P.O. did S*it to it Ever. i have record of three oil changes since i got it and that was the second owners... who knows if the first even ever did one... its only got 27,xxx miles and all these problems

I feel your pain. Mine is an '05 and I'm the second owner. It has 45K on it and it's leaking transmission fluid. Sux right before the holidays! Heater cores are a pain to do on your own so I am all for letting the shop do it. I did one in my '98 TJ and broke it trying to get it in. Good luck and I hope it's not too $$$!

Well the shop is gonna be around $2500 and I really don't even like taking it to a shop. I would prefer to do it myself. But my fam thinks differently.. Yeah there went those new bumpers and light bar
