Flare removal. Should I?

Not sure what to actually call it but I was thinking about removing the little flare pieces under the door. Is this a good look? Any one have pics?

Go for it! It looks good with stock fenders and my new flat fenders! The only downside is the three screw holes and some other hole. But I think it's worth it till I get sliders

I vote yes but as nvhunter mentioned, you'll have 3 screw holes where it was mounted so it wont be a "clean" removal unless you throw some sliders on such as how Alex did his.

I kinda always wished my Rubicon came with those extra flare pieces because I thought they might help keep some of the crap off my doors and windows when I'm driving in the rain.

There's no difference, when I had stock fenders my tires were outside the fenders and the sides always got plastered with snow, mud and rain

I think I may take them off to paint and see how I like it. I was hoping for some other pics too. I'm just gonna leave the bolts in. Maybe it will look a little rugged. Ha. Anyone else gotnpics

Thank you so much! It is very simple, what you see is what you get. From why I can see in your profile picture, you have a very nice Jeep! Don't be depressed, mine is nothing special. What part of Georgia are you in?

I vote yes. I removed mine. I bought some black nylon washers along with black cap bolts, gives it a clean finished off look to fill in the 3 exposed holes.

i did the opposite. i cut my fenders and kept the extensions, primarily to protect my coax from snagging anything. id like to think it helps keeps mud out the doors, but who am i kidding..
