Flares Peeling!

I have an 04 rubicon and I was washing it and noticed the rear driver side flare is peeling on the front surface. Has this happened to anyone else and do you know what causes it?

Are you the second owner? If so, sounds like some one repainted them improperly. Krylon Fusion Satin Black will fix that.

I just finished painting mine with the satin black and not happy with the color. Is there a way to find the oem color? It looks horrible

What kind of color are you looking for? Glossy? Krylon fusion has gloss black from memory.

yeah

I have an 04' Wrangler and I noticed about a month ago that the fender flares were very faded. I decided to use what you guys said and it took about a weekend to paint the fenders. It looks really great now.

The base I'm on, a Col. was like damn that looks brand new. Did you get another Wrangler? Yeah it was awesome. Yeah just repaint it. Do a couple coats, it'll be worth it.

No gloss, trying to find a color that matches the soft top. The top is black denim and the dark flares dont go well with it. Maybe I should wait to see how it looks in the daylight.
