I have a 1998 Sport with a stock front bumper. I need to find a way to tow the Jeep behind my F-150 so my kids and I can have some fun further away from our house. Any suggestions for a reasonably priced tow bar and base plate set up? I've seen base plates as high as $600. That seems ridiculous.
I've got the same brackets and I picked up a used Road Master Falcon 5250 towbar on Craigslist. The nicer towbar just makes hooking up a disconnecting a little easier. I used the cheap magnetic lights from harbor freight. Towed about 100 miles with my rv and it towed great. Didn't really even know it was back there. Good luck.
