Florida traffic laws

Might be moving to Florida. And I was wondering if there is any laws or restrictions that I should be concerned about ,that apply to my 06 wrangler. As far as fenders and tire coverage. Lights either offroad, fog and led stop and turn signals. Any info would be much appreiciated

Flares-Not required
Lift-center of headlight can't be higher than 48"
Lights-no more than 4 can be illuminated at one time.
Only clear and amber can visible from the front
Only red can be visible from the rear
For neons/LED's, as long as ONLY the glow, not the actual lighting device, is visible from the sides only, you're good. Example: undercarriage lights, as long as you don't see the bulb, but the glow off the road or the vehicle itself.
Mirrors: one outside is required.

FL doesn't have a vehicle inspection.

They don't need inspections as much as retesting all the old people to see if thay can still drive safely.

I live in Florida. I drive my Jeep with questionable mods. I get pulled over occasionally for them by uninformed officers. I keep a copy of the statues having to do with windshield, mirrors, fenders, etc. and show them to the officers when they pull me over. Have yet to get ticketed when I show them the proof of the law.

I had recently looked this up. It used to be that a side mirror was required. Now, the statute provides that any mirror letting you see at least 200 feet behind - so a rear view mirror would be enough.

The 2012 Florida Statutes

Title XXIII
MOTOR VEHICLES
Chapter 316
STATE UNIFORM TRAFFIC CONTROL
View Entire Chapter 316.294 Mirrors.—Every vehicle, operated singly or when towing any other vehicle, shall be equipped with a mirror so located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway for a distance of at least 200 feet to the rear of the motor vehicle. A violation of this section is a noncriminal traffic infraction, punishable as a nonmoving violation as provided in chapter 318.History.—s. 1, ch. 71-135; s. 1, ch. 76-31; s. 207, ch. 99-248.
Note.—Former s. 316.273.
