Flushed my heater core found a volcano!

So over the past few years I've noticed my heat hasn't been as hot as it used to be, so I flushed the heater core today. What a difference, holy crap!

First I flushed out the coolant in the lines with a hose. then I poured a cheap type of CLR (calcium, lime, rust) cleaner down the hoses, let them set for about 10 minutes, flushed it out, filled them with the CLR again. let it sit for another 10 minutes. The junk that came out of my heater core... Wow... that all I can say...

Only took about an hour or so and the 20-30 minutes of waiting for the CLR to work. The hardest part was when I got one of the squeeze hose claps stuck against the a/c and had to pry it out so I could grab it again.

I now have a volcano for a heater...

What have we got?
We have one heavily armed Recreational Vehicle

Amazing what a little decent circulation can do, isn't it?

I just flushed mine again for the 2nd time. I heat was only blowing at 90 degrees. I only flushed with water though. Now my heat blows out at 150 degrees. I couldnt believe the difference. I have read that people have had problems using CLR and that it might be better to use vinigar. I might try the vinigar and see if it works.
