Or a helmet!
Pool noodles also work great for wrapping sharp edges.

Hard top lashes out for not being used! Haha. Like said previously, pool noodles either with a slit cut in them, or cut in half are good for padding. We use them in my shop to pad a metal safety ring we lean over regularly.

No doubt, good ideas!
After it stopped bleeding, I finished oil change, and changed connection point to crank, so it lifts over a foot higher.....
Never bang head on it again

If you were drinking more beer while working on it you wouldn't have felt it lol, for real that sucks though, me and my hard top have a love/hate relationship as well, I can't wait to get me a soft top

Bummer. I'm always bumping my head on things, being 6' 5 1/2". The world doesn't fit me.

Wait until your working next to your tool box and you leave a drawer open, then stand up and catch the corner with the small of your back, good times there

Good times. My wife put a piece of foam on the corner of my old HT the last time it drew blood.

I walked into the lower corner at the bottom of the door opening. 3 stitches fixed me right up. Wasn't even my hardtop, just helping someone install some nutserts for side steps.

Earlier this summer I was in the back seat with teen age step son behind the wheel off road. Drove off a three foot ledge. I did a head plant into the roll bar. Seven stitches and a lost day off roading. Sucked, but made for a great story later.

I met the family for a day in the desert and was giving rides. My daughter and grand-daughter were in the rear seat. No belts as we were just cruising. I looked in the mirror to see how my GD was liking the ride and didn't see the dip. I hit it hard and they bounced up into the soft top and collided with each other. My daughter caught one of the e nastiest black eyes I've ever seen. Looked like her hubby punched her out. ALWAYS insist everybody be belted. Fortunately it was her and not my 3 yr old GD.

If my wife wasn't out of town this weekend, I probably would have been in for stitches yesterday lol
