Fog/Auxiliary lights Help

Hi everyone,
I am looking into putting new fog/Auxiliary lights on my 2002 wrangler x. I live in Pa and my dad told me that there is a law that your fog lights need to turn off when your high beams go on or your car will not pass inspection. My jeep does not and did not come with fog lights. The lights i bought have covers that go over the light so i think i can just put them on when it goes in for inspection, but does anyone know if there is a hook up, switch, wires, or anything that was put on the jeep during manufacturing for fog lights to be put on that is already hooked into the lights switch by the steering wheel? If not, i will just put the switch they gave me under the dash and use that to turn them on. Please post a pic if anyone has this same model with for lights. Thanks!

I would think it would be the other way around, aux lights ON with high beam and off with low beam?

For most places it is generally fog lights can only be on with your running lights / parking lights or low beams, and auxillary lights can only be on with your high beams.

If you are installing fog lights the relay might still be there if you have a fog light switch, and you can use that to deal with it.

If your installing aux lights, the legal way would be to put a relay in that will supply power to you aux light switch only when your high beams are on.

Sorry to hijack, but so does anyone know how I can override the system so my stock fog lights still come on with my high beams?

I too am in PA. I ran my Hellas through a relay. The power I ran from the headlight. I believe the wire was blue with a white stripe. I also have a switch. When I turn my highs on the fogs go off automatically

So the Fog Lamp relay is not in the main fuse box under the hood, but the electrical schematic says there is a relay. Any idea where that relay is located? I drive a 2000 TJ.

I found it with the help of this post.

Now my high beams work with my fog lights at the same time.
