Smile Fog/Driving lights

so ive got the smittybilt src bumper and two hella 500ffs mounted on the hoop which are wired to the stock fog light switch. and i want to get another, maybe even 2 sets of the hella 500ffs. and i was wondering something.

can i wire another set into the same switch?
i planned on just splicing the wires from the new ones onto the wires to the switch.
so can i wire another set onto the same switch or will it blow a fuse whenever i use them?
and if it cant handle the power, can i just get a bigger fuse?

thanks

You can probably have your switch activate another relay setup.

Donít splice the new lights to the old. Yes it will blow the fuse.

No you canít use a bigger fuse. It is sized that way for a reason, the wiring will not handle a larger current load. If you want to run more lights you need to add another power circuit. Since the relays do not draw much powering more the one from one switch is normally OK, but the lights themselves draw a lot and you have to provide for that.

Just when you buy the new lights, I'd use the wire from the switch (that flips the relay on) to activate the second harness.
