Fog Light

2002 Wrangler Sport... got factory fog lights.
Caught a rock and cracked one. Dealer wants $170... can't find at a salvage yard.

Any other suggestions?

Replace them with aftermarket fogs that are better for the a cheaper price but a better pair of lights.

If you haven't gotten more out of the insurance company than you deserve, then you haven't screwed them nearly as much as they have been screwing you for the past xx years.

I like the stock ones. I haven't found any that glow as bright and look as good... THat's just me. I know some are out there if I look hard enough.

But it's my wife's Jeep and she likes them too. So I'll stick with them, if I can.

It still works. It's just cracked. BUt I know, in time, the condensation will overcome it...

KC Highlights makes some that plug right in to the stock wiring #97047.1201 from Quadratec. Maybe those will work for you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I did not know about those. They are pretty sharp.

Are they brighter than stock?

I have had a stock fog light that was cracked since I bought my 03 TJ over a year ago. It still works and no condensation on the inside as of yet. They have even been underwater a few times.

Cool. Yeah, at those prices, I'm not sweating it until it "dies."
At that point, we'll probably have gotten rid of it anyhow.

It's got 79K on it now. We parted ways with the last one we owned at 120K.

All my trucks had 200K or more when I got rid of them. Probably our last Jeep.

Stocks are 55W. They're fog lights, not driving or off road lights.

Is it broken or just cracked? One of my fog light lenses has been cracked for a couple of years now with no ill effects except cosmetic. I was thinking about taking the lens out and using crazy glue to mend the cracks. May be better to just leave it alone.

Yeah don't worry about cracks. I also had one that filled with water in winter. Still worked for years
